Bill & Carol Smith Collection I don’t know who “WRS” is, but that is who Bill Smith got this specimen from in 1954. This is one of two “flying saucer” prehnites in the Smith collection. The single sphere of prehnite with a matte finish is encircled by a shiny ridge giving it that “flying saucer” appearance. This one is also studded with small colorless quartz needles. An eastern US classic.
