I have always liked French Creek chalcopyrites. The skeletal nature of the crystals, and the almost antique looking patina is very appealing. This one exhibits those features nicely, and has the added benefit of magnetite and pyrite associations. The specimen was once in John Betts’ personal collection and also comes with a John Albanese label. An eastern US classic.
