D. Kim Cathcart Collection
We have all seen cleavage fragments of leiteite from Tsumeb, but complete terminated crystals are truly rare. This one is a little bruised on the top, but other than insignificant cleavages on the edges, the crystal is complete and well formed. The familiar pearly luster is evident on the bruised areas, otherwise it would look like a gypsum crystal. This one was once part of the Eric Asselborn collection.
