Jim & Dawn Minette Collection Jim and Dawn Minette put together arguably the finest thumbnail mineral collection ever. We acquired the collection in 2008, but some fine specimens fell through the cracks and are still available. Keep in mind that Minette thumbnails often pushed the size envelope so they may not fit exactly into a 1 inch cube.

Here’s a classic blocky azurite crystal from Tsumeb. The crystal is doubly terminated, but I can’t tell for sure if the bottom is perfect since there is still residual silicone there from an earlier display mount. A very attractive Tsumeb azurite.
