Over the last several years the mines near Zard in Balochistan, Pakistan have produced certainly the finest brookite specimens in the world. Lesser known, but still world-class are the anatase specimens produced in the same area. The quality of the crystals is as fine as anything produced from Norway.
This one is a flat plate of white feldspar scattered with sharp lustrous anatase crystals on the surface and, conveniently for aesthetics, on the top edge of the specimen. This specimen comes with a custom made Sunnywood lucite base.
