John Smolski Collection John Smolski has been an obsessive topaz collector both in the field and with a silver pick for over 20 years. He kept his field collected prizes, but we are fortunate that he sold us the rest.

A beautiful single champagne colored topaz crystal on massive calcite matrix. These crystals are frozen in massive calcite which is mechanically removed to expose the topaz. Unfortunately this crystal became loose during preparation and has been repaired back to the base of the crystal.
